Former President Donald Trump is privately staffing up to launch more personal attacks on Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, as a potential criminal indictment looms for Trump, according to The New York Times.
A grand jury is potentially nearing a criminal indictment against Trump over records related to his payments to Stormy Daniels around the 2016 election meant to maintain Daniels’ silence about an affair she claimed they had. Trump has denied having the affair, saying he did “absolutely nothing wrong.”
According to the Times, Trump is dealing with the new reality by hiring extra staff to increase attacks against Bragg, and brew conspiracies that Joe Biden influenced the Manhattan DA’s probe for political reasons.
